this portion will be updated from time to time with products or services i use and perticurlarly enjoy. --------------------------------------- 20080907 - gigabyt iram link to info cost - about 125 moneys for the unit, about 120 moneys for a full 4gigs of ram other requirments - the 4 gigs of ram lets talk about performance. not the performance brought on by a fifth of whiskey, or a couple of viagras, im talking about your pc. lets talk about my pc for a minute. my pc is running an intel e6850 on an evga 740sli board, 1 8800gts video card (i plan on getting another one), 2 gigs of ram (i plan on getting 8), a 24 inch widescreen and a 21 inch starndard (4x3) monitor viewsonic lcd monitors, 2 500g sata ii hard drives (no raid, i dont trust them much). you get the idea, i like performance but im on a budget. im running vista home premium and i can confess that i do like it. much more detail about the iram on the page ive dedicated to it under performance. anyways if you know how to set it up (hint hint) you are basically using a hard drive that has ram in it. this mean that you will notice many performance improvements with vista, especially things like launching programs, general responsiveness (which can be improved almost no more), photoshop (incredible improvements in rendering), and internet porn. you will have to drop about 130 moneys on it (shipped) and you will need some old ddr ram (about 30 moneys a gig) ive dedicated a page to it so i wont go on more about it here. you will have to get it from an online store though cause i have yet to see anyone who actually carries one. --------------------------------------- 20080716 - motorola s9 bluetooth headphones link cost - 1 benjamin other requirements - a bluetooth ready music player. i have an lg phone that works nicely. there are so many reasons to like these headphones. my personal favorite is the fact that you can work in them without a wire running up your arm to your head or down to your pocket or wherever your music is being broadcast from. they claim about a 6 hour (active use) battery but if you use it all at once (like i do when i work) and you dont turn the volume up loud you will get about 7 out of them. i will admit 1 thing, outside of work, i dont use them. if i am going to put in a good couple of hours around the house they work great, or a shift out spraying for weeds, or if im out hiking the woods and dont want to be bothered and am not worried about lions and tigers and bears oh my! then they will work out well, and you wont regret purchasing them. setup is a breeze, and you can control your music with either the buttons on your unit or the buttons on the headphones themselves. did i mention there was no wires? well its completely wireless. player goes in the pocket. headphones go on the head. no wires. now go out and buy a pair. i picked mine up about january 08 for .99 benjamins at frys electronics, and i couldnt be happier.
